Everpix Shutdown

Ever since I bought my Fujifilm x100s I’ve been looking for a good way to archive all of my photos. I had a really long post in progress for about a month now, having hit on a decent solution. I wanted to give the method time to work for me, work out the kinks and then post it for everybody to bask in the greatness that is my thought process.

One of the cornerstones of the photo safety net was a service called Everpix. They took all of your photos, from all of your disparate photo-generating sources, and combined them in a collated, de-duped way. It sounded too good to be true.

It turns out, it was too good to be true. Today I got an email stating that Everpix was shutting down. It looks like I’m back to perfecting a hodgepodge methodology that involves Flickr, CameraSync, baling wire, twine, gum, paper airplanes and unicorn sweat. This should be fun…
